All About Weed Beach in Darien

(Scroll to the bottom for information on our 8 person inflatable paddle board!)

In addition to a large beach, this 22-acre park includes picnic areas, a bathhouse, a concession stand, children’s play areas, 6 tennis courts, 5 paddle tennis courts, and a windsurfing area. It’s also home to the Darien Junior Sailing Team. It has to be one of the best paddling areas in the state, with islands, ponds, rivers and coastline that are exquisite.  Some of our favorite paddling locations are listed below.  Several we have regularly scheduled guided tours for, others you may book as private tours.
